Denise King
Denise has worked within the financial
services industry for 21 years for a number of ‘Blue Chip’ companies, namely
Lloyds TSB, Barclaycard and Baring Asset Management (BAM), a member of the ING Group.
Denise is a highly experience Programme Manager with a 14 year track record of
managing effective business and information technology change programmes.
At Lloyds TSB
Private Banking (LTPB) Denise delivered effective front, middle and back office
automation including CRM, income & corporate action processing, order settlement
& delivery and CREST/CGO dematerialisation. She
controlled projects to successfully support new PEP products and deliver
automation and back office support for fiduciary services, global custody, on
and off-shore trust services and specialist banking products.
Denise
controlled the business project stream associated with upgrading Barclaycard’s
merchant acquiring system and was a member of the Group Change Management team
at BAM, involved in a range of strategic projects and operating reviews.
In addition, Denise has over 5 years experience of managing internal
business consultancy teams. She founded and built a business consultancy
function for LTPB and Lloyds TSB Stockbrokers and was responsible for a number
of strategic operating reviews to identify inefficiency or risk and recommend
corrective action. She co-ordinated the analysis and development of an activity
based costing model and was responsible for the provision of analysis and
consultancy relating to organisational and process change, system integration
and development. Denise managed the business consultancy effort required to
successfully launch a self-select and managed ISA and was instrumental in
defining the business processes and requirements for a strategic internet offer.
At BAM, Denise managed the client side business
consultancy team within the Investment Management Group and was responsible for
assignments which included performance measurement, client reporting and CRM.
As the head of a business consulting discipline, Denise has
established a successful track record of working with business directors and
senior managers to deliver strategic, tactical and operational change.
Denise has a law degree, has studied the ‘Principles and
Concepts of Strategic Planning’ at Manchester Business School and ‘Developing
Competitive Strategy’ at Henley Management College. She has completed industry best-practice training in project management methods and has both
developed and delivered project management courses for business and technical
colleagues. |
